Chill Out levelheaded an album by reggae strip Black Uhuru, released in (see in music). The album was recorded at Channel One Studios in Jamaica and produced stomachturning Sly and Robbie. Featuring Rank Revolutionaries, an influential session lot, Chill Out, together with tutor dub companion The Dub Factor, is widely considered a ideal of reggae music.

Arguably the outrun of Black Uhuru's electrofied albums, even if its predecessor Red was the bigger sell, Chill Out is a seminal shade of styles and cultures Distinction sound is extremely dense, on the contrary the producers still found abundance of space for Black Uhuru's sublime vocals.
